A Note From Our Founder

Built on a Foundation of Connection & Trust

I am Noah Garson and I founded Whole Scope Learning after reflecting on an experience that reframed my approach to teaching. I first met Oliver nine years ago working at a summer camp as a companion counselor. Oliver was in 3rd grade and diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and a Visual Impairment. Oliver and I quickly established a bond through his love of the Star Wars franchise. Star Wars was my entry point into Oliver’s world. The positive relationship and foundation of trust we built allowed me to effectively support Oliver when navigating social situations and his physical surroundings.

My experience with Oliver revealed the power of connecting with the whole child and its invaluable nature in developing an intrinsic motivation toward success. I frequently recall this experience to inform my current teaching, and Oliver and I maintain our friendship to this day.

Our
Approach

Whole Scope Learning provides a wealth of educational opportunities intended to give your child agency in their learning journey.

Guided by an understanding that school and home are innately connected for children, our dedicated educators tailor content and adapt to create a context for learning that meets the individual needs of each child. A focus is placed on promoting the development of social and emotional learning, and executive functioning skills while engaging with, and building knowledge of academic content and enrichment experiences.

With Whole Scope Learning as your family's partner, your child will develop more confidence and competence as a person and a learner. Our educators know every child is unique and has a different approach to learning. Once your child is paired with an educator they will get to know your child and assist them in prioritizing and completing assignments, developing organizational strategies, self-regulation and much more. Communication is important to us and we will ensure and maintain a mutual understanding of your child’s goals and progress.
